“Mammals of Central America” is an initiative of the National Institute of Biodiversity (INBio) of Costa Rica. The technical aspects were coordinated by Alvaro Herrera and the informatics aspects by María A. Mora. Leila Calderon was responsible for the graphic design of the website and Jose Gonzalez contributed his professional services in the compilation and input of data on the natural history of mammal species that are not present in Costa Rica.
